Among the honors and achievements of this collection, the following can be mentioned:
The Stem therapy center of Iran (located in Taleghani Hospital) in blood diseases and cell therapy of hematopoietic stem cells being equipped with a laboratory for cell therapy studies (complete equipment of the flow cytometry department, complete equipment of the molecular department, HLA-typing department and with a clean culture room and cell culture equipment) in the region.
Our belief in the stem cells and cell therapy research center is that what distinguishes successful and unsuccessful organizations from each other is not in physical assets and financial resources, but in having specific plans and goals and monitoring the level of achievement. Those are the goals. In order to expand the research and provide solutions in the healthcare of blood diseases and hematopoietic stem cells, the hematopoietic stem cells research center was established in 1996 and started its activity.
